Job Description

We are hiring a professional Senior Care Administrative Assistant to handle essential office functions including caregiver scheduling and phone support. This office administrator role is vital to ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client experiences in our non-medical in-home care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service administrator support by answering phones addressing client inquiries and delivering outstanding service.

  • Manage caregiver scheduling to ensure timely and accurate client appointments for our non-medical in-home care services.

  • Maintain precise records of schedules client details and caregiver assignments.

  • Coordinate with caregivers and clients to resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.

  • Perform general administrative support tasks including data entry filing and managing correspondence.

  • Support the senior care team to maintain efficient office operations in Glen Ellyn IL.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.

  • Experience in an administrative assistant or office administrator role; non-medical in-home care experience is a plus.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills for phone support administrator duties.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage caregiver scheduling and multitask effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and scheduling software.

  • Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to senior care.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced home care office support environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as a client scheduling coordinator or in healthcare office assistant roles.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or CRM software.

  • Knowledge of non-medical in-home care industry standards.
