Key Responsibilities:
Lead with Impact: Supervise mentor and guide registered nurses ensuring excellence in care delivery and team development.
Provide Direct Care: Deliver clinical services in clinics homes and schools ranging from nursing assessments to case management.
Champion Community Health: Engage with residents support public health initiatives and respond during health emergencies.
Travel Across the District: Serve communities where youre needed most building trust and resilience.

This position requires:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia or compact state (If a new graduate must obtain RN license within 90 days of the date of hire or subject to termination per the regulations governing the practice of nursing. Requires BLS certification. Requires adherence to all safety policies including a review of immunizations driver safety policies and all other state policies).
Must be able to be fit tested for an N95 or another respirator
VDH requires all Health-Care Personnel (HCP) to provide documentation of immunization or evidence of immunity to the following: hepatitis B measles mumps rubella and varicella; a one-time dose of tetanus diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine regardless of the interval since the last dose of tetanus-diphtheria (Td) vaccine was administered (Td or Tdap boosters shall be received every 10 years); and the current years seasonal influenza vaccination.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with staff orientation and/or staff development
Knowledge of case management and/or ambulatory clinic services or outpatient
clinic.
Work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
