Job Description

Job Responsibilities

This position serves as the coordinator for the colleges purchasing card program as well as the systems coordinator for the Procurement Office. Job duties include but are not limited to managing the colleges purchasing card program managing the colleges contract review process managing the Procurement Office document imaging system processing small procurement purchase orders and assisting in the management of the colleges e-procurement system. This is a critical position for the department and serves as a liaison with other divisions and other colleges.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services or a bachelors degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a purchasing card program including computerized systems as well as experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system such as Banner or Colleague preferred. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages including Excel be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology initiate and complete duties with limited supervision while exercising discretion and professionalism interact effectively with all areas of the college be able to multitask in high-pressure situations and pay close attention to detail. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
