Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as the Assistant Program Director!

Our residential programsprovide a framework from which to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries learn daily living skills develop meaningful relationships and gain opportunities from becoming part of their community. Our dedicated staff creates a safe warm environment and supports the residents in participating in community activities providing transportation to medical appointments managing their finances and much more!

The Assistant Director in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services is responsible for ensuring that services and supports will be provided in accordance with Riversides Mission Statement and policies and consistent with DDS requirements. The Assistant Director will directly superviseourresidential programsand will alsobe responsible for coverage of the cluster in the absence of the Program Director.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm with a need to be flexible to meet program and on-call needs

Rate: $28.80/hr

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and the ability to make effective public presentations required
  • Must be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week provide 24-hour on-call coverage on rotation and to respond to emergency calls as necessary
  • Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office required
  • Valid drivers license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • At least four years residential experience including at least two years in a supervisory and management capacity required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability in budget management program development and personnel management required.
  • Must have current training/certification in First Aid CPR Medication Administration (MAP) HIV/AIDS and Infection Control or be trained within designated timelines. Must maintain valid certifications throughout employment
