About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer Innovations to create interfaces and flows for new verticals at Mochi Health. You will work directly with ex-founders high-frequency traders rocket engineers in the skunkworks project within Mochi to take Mochi from an obesity health platform to a world-class health platform.

Youll play a key role in crafting best-in-class web and mobile experiences that delight both customers and providers. From launching bold new features to rapidly experimenting with fresh verticals youll help shape whats next for Mochi Health. This role is perfect for someone who is able to be scrappy in the world of Web and Mobile development while having good architectural and design sense to build effectively.

What Youll Do

• Work within a small team of PMs designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless intuitive user experiences.

• Iterate quickly on experiments that will guide long-term decision making for leadership as we scal rapidly over the next 6-12 months.

• Lead the development optimization and expansion of our web and/or mobile applications. (React React Native TypeScript)

• Own key architectural decisions mentoring engineers and elevating front-end excellence across the company.

• Influence engineering culture fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.

Who You Are

• 3 years of front-end development experience with deep expertise in React and React Native as well as some exposure to Kotlin/Swift. (e.g. Apple Health Kit <-> React Native Integrations)

• Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable high-performance web and mobile applications.

• Strong knowledge of modern front-end tooling. (TypeScript CI/CD pipelines)

• Expertise in state management strategies and optimizing complex UX interactions in data heavy applications.

• A passion for creating fast accessible and beautiful user experience.

• Startup mindset: you thrive in fast-moving environments take ownership and love solving problems at scale.

• Excellent documentation organization and communication skills.

• Willingness to go beyond core responsibilities to do what it takes to ship great products everyone is proud of.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $250000 to $300000 in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors such as job-related skills experience relevant education or training and location.

Workplace Policy

Mochi Health is an in-person company based in San Francisco CA. Our team works together in person five days a week to foster collaboration innovation and strong connections. We believe that face-to-face interaction builds a culture of excellence and allows us to deliver the best outcomes for the patients and providers we serve.

For office-based roles the standard schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Actual hours may vary depending on business needs and role responsibilities. All employees receive meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and local laws.

For designated remote roles this in-person policy does not apply.
