Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to provide advanced engineering and technical expertise on complex electric transmission projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead utility systems.
In this role you will manage prepare review and provide guidance on line routing survey coordination PLS-CADD modeling structure and foundation design clearance verification plan/profile development material specification and procurement constructability assessments work order package preparation permitting and coordination with vendors subcontractors and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and approve PLS-CADD criteria for transmission projects.

Finalize PLS-CADD models and designs.

Plan and schedule project tasks for support teams.

Attend client stakeholder and design review meetings.

Mentor and train junior engineering team members.

Provide technical input on special design questions.

Participate in internal engineering and design review sessions.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).

Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).

Minimum of 8 years of transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility industry (required).

Proficient in using PLS-CADD for transmission line design (required).

Strong knowledge of design codes and standards such as NESC IEEE ASCE and ACI.

Experience coordinating with substation environmental right-of-way construction and maintenance stakeholders.

Proven ability to apply engineering theories and principles effectively.

Skilled in researching engineering issues evaluating alternatives and preparing recommendations.

Commitment to working safely and adhering to all safety regulations.

Self-motivated and capable of thriving in an unstructured deadline-driven environment.

Excellent collaboration skills able to work effectively with team members and peers in the industry.

Strong verbal written and presentation communication skills.

Must be able to pass a drug screen background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
