PE Labelers is seeking a driven and talented Sales Director to contribute to the success of the company and develop implement and execute sales strategies. Strategies will include identifying new market opportunities and increase overall sales with existing customers. Strategies will also include layer in and aligning new technologies with specific customer and markets to grow both top line and bottom lines organizationally. The position reports to the Global Director of Sales for Axon/PE Labelers.

Are you motivated about this work

  • Directs and coordinates sales activities for all PE Labelers product lines.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive sales plans both short and long range to promote sales and revenue objectives of Bartelt Packaging; plans and executes activities to promote the sale of equipment conversions spare parts and services.
  • Reviews analyses of activities costs operations and forecast data to determine division progress toward stated goals and objectives; prepares reports for executives
  • Confers with executive and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in strategy resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Manages and develops the sales personnel involved in sales activity for all product lines; oversees activities of directors involving staffing training and performance evaluations.
  • Manages and develops internal sales manager and staff; optimizes internal sales process involving proposal and quotation process.
  • Meets with key customers assisting the salesforce with establishing and maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing sales orders; delivers sales presentations to key customers along with the salesforce.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of sales group to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Understands and responds to competitive products and marketing activities technological and demographic factors to capitalize on opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Monitors and designs sales compensation program; works with other upper management to decide appropriate commission splits.

  • Bachelors degree in business or technical field
  • 10 years experience in capital equipment sales
  • 5 years experience managing a national sales team
  • Approaches difficult situations with confidence and tact.
  • Is an accomplished and polished presenter to a variety of audiences including C-suite.
  • Manages and develops leads to completion using
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Is professional ethical and persuasive
  • Proven leadership skills as a sales/business/technology development executive in the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of building business and customer relationships.
  • Experience managing contract negotiations.
  • Self-motivated professional managing customer correspondence and all travel plans as necessary to delivered desired results
  • Proven history of increasing revenues to meet benchmarks and company goals.
  • Extensive travel (50-75%) domestic and some foreign will be required.
