Xavier Universitys College of Nursing which has an enrollment of over 1000 nursing students 35 full-time faculty and 200 adjunct faculty members is seeking an administrative assistant to provide support and data management. This position will report to an Associate Dean in the College of Nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in all areas of student services including both prospective and current students from enrollment through graduation
Assist with college events
Maintain the faculty orientation and resource page in the learning management system Canvas.
Assist as needed with summer fall and spring class schedules
Update and maintain social media and the department newsletter
Assist with and facilitate records management related to graduate nursing practica
Assist with clinical compliance as needed
Facilitate Affiliation agreements etc. for graduate nursing student practica
Facilitate introduction and conclusion correspondence and records with graduate preceptors
Serve as support for the student progression committee
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
A minimum of one-year administrative assistant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft
Professional demeanor
Excellent oral and written communication
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with a team on multiple simultaneous activities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
This is an hourly position working 37.5 hours per week at the hourly rate of $19.
