We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager to complement our sales teams and drive MICE this role you will report and work closely with the Director of Sales to grow the MICE segments and contribute towards growth within the company. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential for success in this role. This is both a strategic and hands on role.

What Youll Be Doing (Duties & Responsibilities)

  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences Events) segment
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients PCOs and event organisers.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations that reflect client needs and Stamfords capabilities in timely manner.
  • Collaborate & communicated with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and performance KPIs.

What Were Looking For (Skills & Experience)

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a proactive sales role within hotel MICE or Conference centres.
  • A strong network and understanding of the Brisbane events market.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter with a genuine passion for hospitality and client service.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
