Pangaea creates and grows digitally native brands on a global scale. Our two brands are Lumin and Meridian both in the personal care space. Our goal is to create iconic disruptive and culture impacting brands that attract communities of brand lovers across borders. Since our launch in 2018 weve sold our products in 50 different countries and have grown to over 50 employees and contractors across several locations in the world!

THE ROLE
Were on the hunt for a Director of Amazon Marketplaces to build and lead our internal Amazon team accelerating marketplace growth with a primary focus on Amazon 3P. This isnt just any role - its your chance to be the architect of Pangaeas next big growth story managing a dynamic team while working hand in hand with Creative Operations Brand Marketing and New Product Development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Amazon Architect: Continue to build out our internal Amazon capabilities and own all aspects of our 3P business including overarching strategy advertising content and operations.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between Sales Brand Creative Operations and NPD teams to ensure Amazon strategies are aligned with broader business priorities.
- Business ownership: Manage and optimize the Amazon P&L focusing on both topline growth as well as profit improvement.
- Pricing & Assortment: Collaborate with brand and new product teams to ensure the optimal Amazon portfolio; lead and execute on-platform promo strategies
- Content Optimization: Manage Amazon product listings by ensuring accurate and engaging product descriptions images and content that enhance the customer experience and drive conversions.
- Acquisition Strategy: Spearhead Amazon acquisition strategy to maximize reach and sales volume including SEO/SEM PPC display ads and affiliate marketing. and have a deep understanding of Amazon advertising strategies to maximize reach and sales.
- Operations Liaison: Collaborate with the operations team to forecast demand manage inventory and optimize fulfillment.
- Global Marketplace Expansion: Evaluate and launch in additional geographies within Amazon with potential of other marketplace expansion (i.e. Walmart Nordstrom etc)
- Data & Reporting: Own robust reporting KPIs and regular management updates to track performance and direct future strategy.
- Organizational Integration: Partner with leadership across the company to ensure Amazon is fully integrated within the organization and a core growth lever connected to every function.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive Amazon 3P expert: 10 years of hands-on experience building and scaling Amazon 3P business for CPG brands
- Deep experience with Amazon analytics advertising platforms and performance optimizations tools
- Strong P&L ownership experience balancing revenue growth with operational efficiency and profitability
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to hire mentor and scale high-performing teams
- Customer-Centric marketing skillset that balances performance-driven growth with premium brand presentation and positioning.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a talent for translating complex data into actionable strategic decisions.
- Comfortable leading organizational change and integrating marketplace thinking into the DNA of the business
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $150000.00 - $170000.00 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidates job-related knowledge skills qualifications experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

These benefits are thoughtfully designed and curated to ensure that our employees are fully equipped to succeed in their work and personal lives. Some benefits include:
- Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical dental and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
- 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employees elected contribution to their retirement plan with immediate vesting.
- Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional Pangaea Fridays throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
- Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try own (and love!) all the products we sell.
