The Infrastructure Director provides strategic and operational leadership for all IT infrastructure services across the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) encompassing 13 state-operated facilities and multiple centralized datacenters. This position ensures the secure reliable and efficient delivery of technology services that support clinical care administrative operations and statewide Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems including Epic and other healthcare platforms.
This role supports enterprise-wide modernization and digital transformation efforts across DSOHF. It contributes to long-term operational success by aligning infrastructure delivery with clinical compliance and business objectives and by leading cross-functional collaboration with security application and facility leadership teams.
Direct infrastructure teams covering network server/storage telecom desktop support and helpdesk operations.
Develop and execute long-term infrastructure strategies supporting agency modernization goals and compliance.
Oversee infrastructure readiness for EHR initiatives facility upgrades and other enterprise technology projects.
Manage operations for data centers disaster recovery business continuity and endpoint environments.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA CJIS NIST CMS and Joint Commission requirements in all infrastructure systems.
Coordinate with Information Security and Privacy teams on risk assessments and audit responses.
Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) metrics and continuous improvement targets.
Lead vendor and contract management for infrastructure platforms and services.
Support organizational transition to centralized IT operating models.
Oversee workforce planning staff development and succession strategies across infrastructure functions.

The IT division (ITD) is one of the divisions that report to the Operational Excellence portfolio. The ITD division comprises six sections: Implementation and Operations Strategy and Workforce Enterprise Technology Vendor and Finance Data and Analytics and Cyber and Privacy. Team ITD offers the following services but not limited to implementations operations project/portfolio management infrastructure consulting business division liaison digital transformation IT strategy enterprise technology IT contract and vendor management and data office services.

Demonstrated experience developing and managing infrastructure performance metrics SLAs and vendor contracts.
