Location:Waddinxveen Netherlands
Employment:Full-time (40 hours per week)

Welcome to Fresh Solutions Netherlands B.V. in Waddinxveen! We are an internationally operating company and part of the Greenyard Group a global market leader in the fresh produce sector. We are the wholesaler and full-service provider of vegetables fruit flowers and plants. With a modern warehouse of 36000 m we process thousands of fresh product shipments weekly for one of the largest retailers in Germany.

Your role as Product Manager Flowers
As Product Manager Flowers you are responsible for purchasing flowers and plants from our international suppliers with an emphasis on long-term collaboration and year-round delivery to our customer. You work closely with various departments to ensure the availability and quality of the flowers and build sustainable relationships with growers and this role you are involved in setting up programs with the customer to ensure continuous delivery according to agreed quality and quantities.
Your tasks include:
- Purchasing flowers and plants from growers and suppliers worldwide focusing on long-term deliveries.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and the customer ensuring quality and price of the flowers.
- Planning and organizing purchases so that flowers are available on time and in top quality for year-round deliveries.
- Actively contributing to improving purchasing processes and supply chain efficiency.
- Monitoring market trends and sharing insights with the team.
What you bring
You have a passion for flowers and at least 12 years of work experience in a similar role for example in the flower trade or another commercial/logistics position. You have a hands-on mentality enjoy negotiating and building relationships. You are comfortable working long-term with customers and suppliers and understand the dynamics of the industry. You are eager to learn enjoy working in a team and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Your strengths include:
- Passion for flowers and a commercial practical mindset.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the flower trade or a similar sector.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (German is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Hands-on eager to learn and proactive in your work.
Additionally your CV includes:
- HBO-level thinking and working experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) experience with ERP systems is a plus.
