Job Description
Research Hub Director - Administrative Supplement
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in internal medicine or a medical specialty.
Research Hub Director Department of Medicine University of Florida. The Department of Medicine invites applications for the position of Director for the Department of Medicine Research Hub. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for research hub. Collaborate with departmental leadership to develop and implement research goals and objectives aligned with the institutions mission and vision.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the research hub including staff collaborative workgroups strategic programs budget and the annual faculty evaluation processes for hub members.
- Partner with Division Chiefs on the recruitment and selection process for incoming researchers ensuring a fair and equitable selection process. Develop and implement strategies to attract a pool of highly qualified applicants to the Department of Medicine as well as retain existing talent.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in internal medicine or a medical specialty.
- Prior experience in research leadership preferred.
- Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
