Job Description

RN Bone Marrow Transplant- Permanent Role

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to prioritize care needs.
  • Develop implement and regularly evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Educate patients families and caregivers on treatment plans and healthcare decisions.
  • Document learning needs and reassess regularly.
  • Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Apply effective clinical judgment and problem-solving in care delivery.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and empathy during all patient interactions.
  • Adhere to safety effectiveness and efficiency standards in all care practices.
  • Participate in professional development and peer mentoring.
  • Contribute to community outreach and service initiatives.
Key Success Factors:
  • In-depth understanding of nursing standards and clinical procedures.
  • Knowledge of state nursing laws regulations and ethical standards.
  • Strong grasp of hospital protocols and patient care systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology disease management medications and side effects.
  • Respect for patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN License in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience.
  • BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
