RN Surgical Oncology (Permanent Role) Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify healthcare needs.
- Recognize clinical signs of patient deterioration and respond appropriately.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses procedures and post-treatment care.
- Coordinate safe and timely patient transport when needed.
- Adhere to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and institutional protocols.
- Appropriately delegate tasks based on patient condition and team capabilities.
- Promote patient safety and take steps to prevent complications or issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
