Schedule: Full-time Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) 3 shifts/week
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Unit Details-
Patient Population: Med/Surg Oncology Chemo Post-op (breast bladder lung colon crani) Cardiac drips Palliative Care

Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Chemo; 1:5 for Med/Tele

Unit Size: 20 beds
-
Deliver comprehensive nursing care using a professional practice model.

Perform patient assessments identify health issues create and evaluate care plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
-
Follow Texas Nursing Practice Act guidelines delegating tasks appropriately.

Maintain patient safety advocate for patient needs and prevent complications.
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Current RN license in Texas.

BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
-
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.

Must meet AHA certification standards.

Nicotine-free facility policy.
