You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position will serve as a subject matter expert in procurement category management responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sustainable competitive advantage in indirect spending categories. This is a hybrid position; primary day to day activities will occur as a remote employee however candidates must reside within a reasonable distance of the Tampa location to ensure availability for on-site collaboration as needed. This status is subject to change at the companys discretion.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing category and sourcing strategies that align with business objectives delivering cost savings and operational efficiency.
Enhancing sustainability and competitiveness through effective supply chain sourcing and management.
Mitigating risk exposure within the category by leveraging best-in-class procurement practices.
The Procurement Category Lead will play a pivotal role with responsibilities including other duties as required.
Qualifications :
Technical Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of purchasing/materials management experience preferably working in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
Education: Bachelors degree in business administration and/or equivalent experience preferred.
Travel: 10%
Security: US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain secret clearance.
