Job Title: Locum Physician - Family Medicine with Obstetrics

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings focusing on obstetrics and gynecology.
• Perform necessary obstetrics procedures including C-sections and hysterectomies.
• Conduct consultations for both new and established obstetric and gynecology cases.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage as per the schedule.
• Collaborate with support staff including lab technicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Utilize EMR (EPIC) for all patient documentation and data management.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures including those related to credentialing and emergency response.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine with Obstetrics or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion).
• Active Kansas medical license (highly preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for credentialing.
• Active DEA registration required for credentialing.
• Availability for the scheduled shifts detailed in the job description.
• Understanding and readiness to meet EMR training requirements.
• Clean malpractice and background history are highly preferred.
• Procedure logs demonstrating competency in required procedures including a minimum of 50 C-sections.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Kansas medical license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active DEA registration.
