In this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care managing acute medical conditions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in stabilizing patients and providing timely interventions in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in urgent situations
- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulations
- Participate in continuous education and training
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in a clinical emergency setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 6a-6p or 6p-6a
No call requirement
Annual Volume: 20800 patients
Daily Volume: 57 patients
15 ED and fast track beds
Support Staff: APPs and full specialty backup
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
