Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks experience to join our dynamic engineering team
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Perform mechanical design calculations and tolerance analysis
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Collaborate with manufacturing procurement and other engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct design reviews and implement feedback
- Support prototype development and testing
- Revise and update existing designs to improve performance and manufacturability
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in mechanical design (SolidWorks proficiency essential)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T FEA and design for manufacturing (DFM)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
