Were looking for a confident and capable CAD professional to join our Heathrow-based team working on complex fire alarm system designs for a high-profile and long-standing client. If you enjoy seeing your work through from the early design stages right through to installation and ongoing support this could be the ideal opportunity.

About the role
This isnt just design in a vacuum youll be embedded on site with direct access to installation engineers involved in real-time decisions and part of a 20-person project team that thrives on collaboration and shared success. From producing detailed 2D and 3D models to supporting project delivery across a live airport environment your work will have real impact and visibility.

Youll take full ownership of your designs contributing from the earliest concept stages through to completion. Expect interesting challenges a varied workload and plenty of autonomy to shape the way each project is delivered.

What youll be doing

• Producing high-quality CAD drawings (2D & 3D) using AutoCAD and Revit (Essential)
• Managing drawing production across the full lifecycle of each project
• Coordinating with engineers and site teams to ensure buildability and compliance
• Following BIM and client standards to produce consistent well-structured outputs
• Acting as a key part of a friendly experienced site-based project team

What were looking for
Were open to backgrounds whether youve worked on MEP systems security installations ductwork or anything similar were really looking for someone with solid technical drawing skills and the right mindset.

Youll need:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and Revit

• Experience producing commercial design work ideally in MEP or similar fields

• A hands-on approach and good problem-solving instincts

• Full right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship)

• The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check

Fire system experience is helpful but not essential we can support the right person to learn on the job if you bring the core CAD skills and practical thinking.
