Job Description

12-hour night shifts

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their Labor and Delivery team for a full-time night-shift position. This role is ideal for a clinically strong compassionate RN with a passion for supporting mothers and newborns during one of lifes most critical moments.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current California Registered Nurse license

Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA required upon hire

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) American Academy of Pediatrics required upon hire

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

National certification in Labor & Delivery or related specialty

Completion of the AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course

At least 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an acute care/hospital setting

Minimum 1 year of independent RN experience (excluding training) in Labor & Delivery including intrapartum antepartum and L&D OR in a hospital environment

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Holds an active CA RN license

Certified in BLS and NRP (must be active at time of hire)

Strong clinical skills in intrapartum and antepartum care

Demonstrates confidence working independently in a hospital-based L&D setting
