Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Training Aids Devices Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Operator shall have the skills and knowledge utilizing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals ADA TADSS charts decision matrix diagrams doctrinal operations and maintenance support procedures. ADA TADSS Operator shall sort out and trace electrical and mechanical faults recognize operating systems (Microsoft and Linux based) differences and data processing perform computer workstation network process and identifying ADA TADSS system errors. Shall abide by and follow the approved ADA Program of Instruction (POI) and Training Support Package (TSP) standard content of each planned subject and adjust as needed to adapt training time and material as requested by the instructor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ADA TADSS systems integration assessment prior to the start of each training period.
- Shall at the direction of the course instructor launch the correct simulations courseware scenarios and procedures.
- Provide a student summary within 15 minutes after completion of a training event.
- Install software and perform network configuration after ADA TADSS change management to the training simulation system application is delivered to the institutional training facility.
- Follow instructional techniques and procedures specified in United States Army Air Defense Artillery School (USAADASCH) regulations: TR 350-6 TR 350-18 TR 350-70 TR 570-4 and school memoranda.
- Shall use prescribed texts student outlines advance sheets worksheets technical and field manuals schematics logic diagrams and miscellaneous publications while performing ADA TADSS support.
- review revise or update ADA TADSS maintenance procedures and air and missile defense scenarios with government training representatives generated by the Directorate of Training Doctrine (DOTD) New Systems Branch course managers that supports POI.
- Shall read and comply with applicable ADA TADSS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Security Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) / Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from relevant Program Managers/Project Offices Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) 30th ADA BDE and related internal and external organizations.
Qualifications :
- Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; or at a minimum of 1 year performing ADA TADSS operations.
- Proof of ADA TADSS Operator qualifications
- Valid CompTIA Security credentials or license with expiration date
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Prior Military Recommended.
- ADA MOS Certificate of Completion or Training.
- DD 214 copy 4 (long form).
- Enlisted Warrant Officer or Commissioned Officer Records Brief.
