Machine Operator/Helper
Pay: $18/hour
Location: Tulsa
Shift: Friday Sunday 5:00 AM 5:00 PM (training Monday Friday for 2 weeks; OT as needed hours may fluctuate)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Machine Operator/Helper to support coil steel processing and production operations in Tulsa. The Machine Operator/Helper will assist with setup operation monitoring and troubleshooting of machines while ensuring high-quality output. This position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation
- Assist with general labor duties throughout shop areas
- Operate and monitor multiple machines to ensure quality production and minimal downtime
- Communicate with team members to support continuous high-quality output
- Move materials safely using forklifts and overhead cranes
- Follow all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain work area cleanliness
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned as part of the Machine Operator/Helper role
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of production and plant processes
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for calculations
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Dependable team player
- Ability to lift heavy equipment bend stand or walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work shifts weekends and overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl as needed
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Specific vision requirements: close color peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to hot cold wet or humid conditions
Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
