Job Summary
The qualified applicant will perform selected quality control testing activities dependent upon assigned area including the following:
- Responsible for conducting in process and finished product testing according to standard operating procedures.
- Completes appropriate documentation supporting testing procedures including data capture forms equipment logbooks and inventory forms.
- Enters data evaluated for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.
- Calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules
- Maintains supply levels to support performance of assigned duties.
- Reads understands and follows SOPs and complies with cGMPs
- Applies critical thought to solving problems.
- Performs laboratory testing as assigned and per schedule
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/MS in biological or chemical science (chemistry or biochemistry etc.) with at least 2 years of experience in laboratory industry environment preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to plan and carry out laboratory operations efficiently and effectively maintaining accurate records of all experiments and data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality Control experience
- GMP experience
- Hands on experience with PCR and/or capillary electrophoresis desired
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Frederick MD are encouraged to apply. The compensation range is between $31-34/hr and based on experience.
