The HR Planner is responsible for forecasting workforce requirements developing staffing plans and aligning HR strategies with the organization s business objectives. This role ensures the company has the right talent in the right place at the right time while optimizing workforce costs enhancing employee engagement and providing data-driven insights through ERP systems and KPI monitoring.
Key Responsibilities :
Workforce Planning & Forecasting
Analyze business plans market trends and operational needs to project workforce requirements.
Develop short-term and long-term manpower plans including recruitment timelines and succession strategies.
Collaborate with department heads to assess skill gaps and plan training or hiring initiatives. HR Data Analysis ERP & KPI Management
Maintain and analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates headcount recruitment timeframes and absenteeism.
Work extensively with ERP systems to manage workforce planning data and generate accurate reports.
Define track and evaluate HR KPIs to measure planning effectiveness and support strategic decisions.
Prepare monthly and quarterly workforce planning and performance reports for management review.
Recruitment & Staffing Coordination Work closely with the recruitment team to align hiring efforts with workforce plans.
Monitor progress against hiring plans and adjust strategies as needed. Assist in developing job descriptions and evaluation criteria for new roles.
Talent Management & Development
Identify high-potential employees and create career development roadmaps.
Support succession planning to ensure leadership continuity.
Coordinate with Learning & Development to address skill gaps.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare annual HR budget forecasts based on manpower plans.
Monitor labor costs and recommend optimization strategies.
Ensure staffing plans align with budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Master s degree preferred).
Experience:
3 5 years in HR planning workforce analytics or HR operations.
Experience in data-driven HR decision-making and manpower forecasting.
Familiarity with ERP systems and HR analytics software.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP platforms HRIS and workforce planning tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to define track and improve HR KPIs.
Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
