Principal Consultant - Advisory (Digital and Reporting Specialism)

As a Senior Consultant in our Advisory unit you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure real estate or natural resources projects for both private and public clients in the Middle East (KSA). You will support the team in delivering business transformation and advisory services focusing on strategy change management and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Assessment & Solution Development:
  • Assess client environments and challenges utilizing structured approaches to discover deliver and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Develop and optimize change strategies including vision mission capability assessment target operating models and change management frameworks.
  • Create tailored solutions that align with client business models and operating environments.
• Programme & Project Management:
  • Manage and deliver complex business transformation programmes ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of programme integration services including project lifecycle design governance benefits management and stakeholder relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of PMO and controls strategies functional set-up and optimisation.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
  • Deliver workshops in virtual and face-to-face environments with senior (C-suite) client representatives.
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients providing excellent communication and influencing skills to support successful outcomes.
  • Engage with stakeholders within large and complex organisations navigating through complex environments.
• Internal Development & Business Generation:
  • Contribute to the internal development of methodologies product toolkits and transformation products.
  • Support business generation activities such as bids proposals and marketing campaigns.
  • Mentor and coach team members contributing to their technical and behavioural development.

Qualifications :

• 5-7 years of industry experience preferably with a Masters degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in consulting or internal consulting within the Infrastructure Real Estate or Natural Resources sectors.
• Experience in data analysis business intelligence or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering complex business transformation programmes in the construction industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Power BI:

1. Data Modelling: Creating and optimizing data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis
2. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Writing complex DAX formulas for custom calculations and measures.
3. Power Query: Using Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
4. Visualization: Designing interactive and insightful dashboards and reports.
5. Integration: Integrating Power BI with other data sources and services (e.g. Azure SQL Server).

• Data Analysis: 

1. Statistical Analysis: Applying statistical methods to interpret data and generate insights.
2. Predictive Analytics: Using machine learning models to predict future trends and behaviors. Familiarity with python and other coding languages is a plus.

• SQL:

1. Query Optimization: Writing efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
2. Database Management: Managing and maintaining relational databases.
3. Stored Procedures: Creating and using stored procedures for repetitive tasks.

• Digital Integration:

1. API Integration: Connecting various systems and applications using APIs.
2. ETL (Extract Transform Load): Implementing ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources.

• Digital Transformation:

1. Change Management: Leading and managing digital transformation initiatives.
2. Technology Evaluation: Assessing and selecting appropriate technologies for business needs.
3. Process Automation: Implementing automation tools to streamline business processes.

• Data Management:

1. Data Governance: Establishing policies and procedures for data management and security.
2. Data Quality: Ensuring data accuracy completeness and consistency.
3. Master Data Management (MDM): Managing critical data to provide a single point of reference.

• Proficiency in Office 365 applications diagramming tools (e.g. Visio) online whiteboarding tools (e.g. Miro) and team collaboration tools (e.g. Slack Microsoft Teams).
