Tasks
- Provide support to our scientific users and international distributors regarding the effective use of our neurophysiological hardware and signal acquisition software with a particular focus on simultaneous EEG-fMRI measurements.
- Offer consultation and troubleshooting services primarily through remote channels such as an email ticketing system video calls or in-house pilot testing. On-site customer visits may also be required approximately once a month.
- Analyze sample data and employ creative problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for optimizing customer setups.
- Serve as a liaison between customers/distributors and product management/development teams to facilitate the enhancement of existing products and the development of new ones.
- Coordinate and oversee the initiation and management of repair processes.
- Develop training materials for workshops and compose technical or promotional articles.
- Represent Brain Products by participating in workshops webinars and international scientific conferences including giving presentations.
Requirements
- Research or laboratory experience in a relevant field such as neuroscience psychology (bio)physics biomedical technology or a related discipline. A Ph.D. is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Solid experience with simultaneous EEG-fMRI measurements ideally using the BrainAmp MR system. This includes the acquisition of combined datasets as well as the handling and processing of EEG data recorded in the MR environment.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety standards and the underlying physics.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of hardware and software used for biosignal acquisition especially EEG and MRI. Experience with MRI sequences is an advantage.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences ranging from novices to experts.
- Excellent command of English both spoken and written. Proficiency in German is desirable.
- A structured and self-reliant working style combined with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to work on-site most of the time and to travel internationally on occasion (approx. once per month).
