What are we looking for
- Strong foundation insoftware engineeringprinciples and practices with a focus oncloud-nativedevelopment and deployment methodologies.
- Extensive experience with theAzure cloud platformandAzure solution architecture and best practicesincluding knowledge ofAzure servicesrelevant to cloud software development AKS networking storage and other Azure services relevant to Kubernetes deployments.
- Strong understanding of bothinfrastructureand software engineering principles with a focus on cloud-native technologies andKubernetesincluding cluster administration application deployment networking and security.
- Experience withopen-sourcetools and technologies commonly used in Kubernetes environments such asFluxCD KongandLinkerd and their integration with Azure.
- Experience withCI/CDpipelines andGitOps principles ideally with experience inGitHub Actionsor similar tools and their integration with Azure Resource Manager and Kubernetes.
- Experience withsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC)and agile methodologies with a focus on secure development practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience withTerraformand infrastructure-as-code principles specifically for Azure and Kubernetes deployments.
- Proficiency in one or moreprogramming languages (e.g. Go C# JS).
- Understanding ofuser experience (UX)anddeveloper experience (DevX) principles with a focus on designing and building user-friendly cloud-based tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding ofsecuritybest practices andzero-trust principles with knowledge of Azure and Kubernetes security features and best practices.
- English fluency.
- Based in Portugal.
