We seek an HR Officer to manage employee relations compliance with workplace regulations and HR administrative processes. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to relevant awards supporting workforce management and fostering a positive workplace environment. This position is critical for maintaining a compliant and productive organizational culture.
What You ll Do
You ll be the kind of person who:
- Administer employee onboarding ensuring proper documentation and orientation processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases for compliance and reporting.
- Implement workplace health and safety policies and training as needed.
- Handle employee inquiries resolving conflicts and fostering positive workplace relations.
- Prepare HR reports including attendance leave and performance metrics for management review.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies updating procedures as required.
Requirements
What You Bring
We re looking for someone with:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or a similar field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in human resources or related roles.
- Familiarity with the SCHADS Award and workplace health and safety (WHS) obligations are an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and compliance.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Problem-solving skills to address employee relations and compliance challenges.
