Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements including Profit and Loss Accounts Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax computations and remittances (PAYE VAT Withholding Tax Company Income Tax etc.).
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and reporting.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor daily financial operations including invoicing billing and budget tracking.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
- Assist with internal and external audits and liaise with regulatory bodies when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies procedures and controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree or HND in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proven experience in handling taxation payroll reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel especially in using spreadsheets for financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage QuickBooks Tally) is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and Nigerian financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity professionalism and a good work attitude.
