Job Description
Our client supporting a top Global Healthcare Company is seeking an SAP MDM (Master Data Management) Lead Consultant. This role involves leading the implementation and governance of MDM solutions ensuring high-quality harmonized master data across multiple business units and geographies. The consultant will play a pivotal role in defining MDM processes overseeing integration with SAP MDG and driving technical excellence for global data management initiatives. Reporting to the Master Data Governance and Data Migration Lead this position requires strong expertise in SAP MDM with exposure to MDG as well as the ability to guide technical teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant master data processes.
This contractual role will be effective till the end of 2025 with renewal in January 2026. Candidate would be working EU/ EST hours as per discretion of the client.
The Role.
- Lead the design implementation and support of SAP MDM solutions across global deployments.
- Act as the primary technical authority for master data management ensuring alignment with overall data governance and migration strategies.
- Collaborate with the Master Data Governance (MDG) team to ensure seamless integration between MDM and MDG processes.
- Define and enforce MDM standards policies and procedures ensuring data consistency and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable MDM solutions.
- Provide leadership to offshore/onsite teams ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
- Support ongoing data migration activities including mapping cleansing and validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring optimal system performance.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize master data processes and technology
Requirements
- At least 5 years in SAP Master Data Management (MDM).
- Strong technical expertise in SAP MDM (Data Modeling Workflows Match & Merge Syndication and Integration).
- Working knowledge of SAP MDG (preferred) especially around governance approvals and harmonization.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments and large-scale global deployments.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
SAP experience with end-to-end procurement and invoicing knowledge process. Completion of S4Hana or SAP implementations and process redesign. Ability to lead the S4 Procurement implementation.
