Job Description
Location: Denver Colorado Onsite
Strong understanding of Windows CE operating system architecture and API including real-time features.
- Experience with embedded Visual Tools or Visual Studio for Windows CE development.
- Proficiency in C/C Programming Languages used for the embedded system.
- Expertise in dial-up modem integration and troubleshooting including understanding AT commands and network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of UDP TCP and TLS networking including configuration troubleshooting and potential real-time considerations.
- Experience in integrating and managing peripherals connected via RS232 and USB ports.
- Understanding of Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) data acquisition and processing potentially including handling encrypted data from sources like credit cards.
- Knowledge of touch screen functionality and user interface development for embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of relational database systems SQL Server including SQL for querying manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in database administration tasks like designing schemas and creating SQL scripts.
- Familiarity with ODBC connections for database integration.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols like TCP/IP crucial for troubleshooting communication between terminals and the server.
- Experience with dial-up and Ethernet communications essential for the transactional nature of the updates and downloads.
