Job Description

Sales Representative - FMCG (Alcohol / Non-Alcohol Beverages)

Location: Yaounde

Industry: Importation & Distribution of Alcohol / Non-Alcohol Beverages

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to develop and manage client relationships drive sales and oversee stock and warehouse operations in Yaounde. The role requires strong communication skills in both English and French experience in the FMCG sector in Yaounde and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1- Client Acquisition & Management:

  • Prospect and secure new clients across the Yaounde market.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Follow up on client orders and ensure timely deliveries.

2- Payment Follow-Up:

  • Rigorously follow up on client payments to ensure on-time collections.
  • Escalate overdue accounts promptly in line with company policy.

3- Sales & Marketing:

  • Execute marketing activities to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Implement activation plans across diOerent outlets as required.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and client satisfaction.

3- Stock & Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee stock levels and ensure proper rotation to avoid expiration.
  • Manage warehouse operations including receiving storing and dispatching goods.
  • Prepare stock forecasts based on sales trends and market demand.

4- Reporting & Analysis:

  • Provide daily and weekly sales stock and payment / prospection reports.
  • Conduct competition analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience : Min 3 years of proven experience in FMCG sales in Yaounde.
  • Strong knowledge of the Yaounde market and client base.
  • Langages : Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft OOice (Excel Word).

Salary: Approx 150000 xaf – based on experience
