Job Description

Client Name: StevenDouglas

Job Title: Strategic Delivery Partner/Manager Acquisition & Integration (Hardware)
Location: Austin TX Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Work Type: Hybrid
Job Type: Contract (6 Months with Extension)
Rate: $80/hr on W2 (Client flexible for strong candidates)

*** We need: A senior resource who has experience coming in and integrating hardware and infrastructure for two companies after an acquisition. THE COMPANIES ARE BOTH MIDSIZED SO SOMEONE OUT OF A HUGE ENTERPRISE WILL PROBABLY NOT WORK. This resource will be focused with how to handle the integration .mostly from a logistics and hardware perspective. Tech inventory swapping out old PCs/Macs server consolidation etc. It would be great if they happened to also have an enterprise architecture background as well to also deal with how both companys systems can operate together but more of the focus they really need is in infrastructure/hardware. *** THIS WILL BE A SENIOR LEVEL RESOURCE WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MID SIZED COMPANIES RATHER THAN HUGE ENTERPRISES. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND HAVE RECENT EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE SORTING OUT HARDWARE PROBLEMS AND INTEGRATING BOT COMPANIES RESOURCES.

***Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local.

***Candidates must be LOCAL to Hybrid/Austin TX area and COMMUTE into the office THREE TIMES A WEEK. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED. *** Please send candidates even if they are over the target rate. The Client is flexible.

Engagement Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Delivery Partner to work alongside the SVP of Enterprise Technology & Data Solutions. The role will focus on sequencing and tracking the delivery of multiple high-priority technology and business initiatives ensuring cross-functional alignment and maintaining executive-level visibility of progress and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT and business leadership to establish a clear delivery sequence for prioritized initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions to align dependencies resources and timelines.
  • Track actions and commitments from the leadership team ensuring follow-up and accountability.
  • Maintain an enterprise initiative tracker including status updates risks and mitigation actions.
  • Provide regular executive-ready reporting on delivery progress and challenges.
  • Support the onboarding of the new VP of Business Solutions & Services by establishing foundational governance processes and handover plans.
  • Identify and escalate risks that could impact delivery schedules or strategic objectives.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven track record in program/portfolio management for enterprise-level technology and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with executives.
  • Ability to work in complex environments with multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Experience in governance prioritization frameworks and demand management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Engagement Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend if required).
  • Location: Hybrid (Austin-based presence preferred).
  • Reporting to: SVP Enterprise Technology & Data Solutions.
