Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Drafter with strong SolidWorks experience to support our engineering and product development teams. The ideal candidate will create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models revise existing designs and ensure documentation aligns with project specifications and industry standards.

DoD/ military support experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

    • Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD models assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks.
    • Develop accurate bill of materials (BOMs) part lists and documentation to support manufacturing and engineering.
    • Interpret mechanical design concepts and convert them into technical drawings.
    • Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance with specifications.
    • Ensure that all drawings meet internal quality standards and applicable codes and regulations.
    • Assist in prototyping and design changes based on testing or production feedback.
    • Maintain drawing archives and document control systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing purchasing and quality assurance.
$70000 - $80000 a year
