Job Description:
A Senior Quality Engineer isresponsible for ensuring product quality and reliability through the development implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and procedures.They lead and mentor teams conduct audits analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Their work helps prevent defects enhance user experience and meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Quality Systems:Creating and maintaining quality management systems including procedures work instructions and specifications ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitoring and Auditing:Conducting regular audits analyzing quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis:Investigating issues performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions to resolve quality problems.
- Collaboration and Communication:Working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering production design etc.) to ensure product quality address concerns and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentoring and Leadership:Guiding and mentoring junior engineers and other team members providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of quality.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Developing and analyzing quality metrics creating reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Process Optimization:Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes reduce defects and enhance overall product quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical background:Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a related field with experience in quality assurance and relevant industry practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills:Ability to identify analyze and resolve complex quality issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills:Ability to collaborate with diverse teams present findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities:Experience leading and mentoring teams providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards:Familiarity with relevant standards like ISO 9001 and experience with quality tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools:Experience with quality management software bug tracking systems and other tools used in quality assurance.JOB APPLY
