Sort Center area manager would manage third-party logistics sort center Operating on Amazon tools systems and infrastructure. Area Manager would monitor safety performance matrix including (DEA dwell reverse logistics .. ) & financials to assure best customer experience delivering & receiving shipments from different nodes & manage CPT & truck utilization .
Key job responsibilities
-Manage Amazon & 3PL team on site -Processing and sorting packages by destination
-Supporting loading/unloading operations
-Managing backlog and inventory flow
-Coordinating with carriers and other Amazon facilities
-Handling missorts and ensuring proper routing
-Following standard operating procedures for loading delays and other operational challenges
- 1 years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
- 1 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
