Job Summary
Perform Machine Buy Off (MBO) line qualification and line transfer for projection lines in as Operational technical lead in communicating project readiness and identifying cross functional activities for overall operational readiness in all NPI phases leading into mass suppliers by providing technical direction to establish and validate (using statistical tools) process ability to Apple standards in meeting innovative product designs as well as test and quality Manufacturing and Inspection process control plans (MIP) for early detection of issues and to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently and setup with the vendor and Apple any design of experiments (DOE) needed to improve performance or mitigate role definitely requires constant interfacing with multiple function teams engineering operations and quality within Apple as well as various suppliers.
- Good English communication skill
- 3 years of experience in development or manufacturing of consumer electronic products/components.
- Electrical or Mechanical BS/MS Engineering
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Have experience working with international OEM partners
- Analytical and data driven mindset.
- Experience with NPI to MP development of manufacturing lines.
- Soft skills: leadership project management communication teamwork influencing and negotiation are required.
- Deep understanding and development of key processes in manufacturing such as liquid adhesive dispensing welding pick and place assembly etc.
- Innovation integrity and attention to details
- Mandarin skills a plus.
- Nice to have working experience for AI/ML experience
