Job Description
Provide assistance during cross-functional stage-gate review in each of new production introduction phases including support in the area of key sub-tier supplier capability process and line readiness quality control plan reliability test plan gauge R&R correlations to ensure end-to-end quality coverageManage supplier resources and execute routine audits for early detection of issues and help to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently deliveredProvide necessary assistance in driving failure analysis and corrective actions on quality issuesEstablish and implement quality plan to ensure proper standards are in placeProvide necessary support to drive vendor to meet ramp targets through yield improvement and UPH and efficiency improvementProvide direction and guidance to vendor quality engineer develops supplier capability (including necessary training) establishes proper reporting of final inspection and test results to AppleInterfaces with other Apple functional groups as resources to optimize suppliers quality programs This role definitely requires constant interfacing with multiple function teams engineering operations and quality within Apple as well as various suppliers Monitoring MP yield and perform gap analysis and work with vendor to propose improvement actions
- Good English communication skill
- 3 years of experience in quality management & control in manufacturing
- Electrical or Mechanical BS/MS Engineering
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience developing processes quality plans supplier quality deliverables inspection solutions and driving corrective actions/failure analysis efforts
- Strong statistical data analysis and statistics concept expertise (Design of Experiments and JMP/Minitab)
- Soft skills i.e. leadership project management communication teamwork influencing and negotiation are required
- Innovation integrity and attention to details
- Mandrin skills as plus
- Nice to have working experience for AI/ML experience
- Experience of working with international OEM partners
