Job Description
Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System follow strictly HSE requirements Codes of Ethics and BV Groups policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze input information to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
- Review project data design drawings and technical documentation; verify design principles and clarify any issues with the design team throughout all stages (from concept to construction design).
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local and international codes and standards.
- Validate analytical models calculation spreadsheets design reports and drawings in accordance with the companys quality assurance procedures.
- Proficient in specialized software such as AutoCAD Revit (required) and other tools for design and analysis.
- Coordinate with other designers/ other consultants/ other members to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Experienced in designing electrical and ELV.
- Capable of supervising M&E works at construction sites.
- Experienced in Quantity take-off quotation making and obtaining supplier quotations for electromechanical contracting document and technical documents.
- Other duties upon request.
REQUIREMENTS
- University diploma in Electrical field
- At least 5 years of experience working in designing Electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of local codes & standards have knowledge of international (EN) code and standards is a plus
- Practical experience in designing hotel/industrial/factory building projects
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD MS Office Revit and other Electrical software)
- Be able to communicate fluently in English in both written and oral commands
