Position Overview: The SSA Review Analyst will support the DCS SSA Benefits Unit in processing Retirement Survivor Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) applications for children and youth in DCS care. This role involves administrative tasks data entry form completion and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: - Monitor SSA Team mailbox and manage incoming correspondence
- Scan and electronically file SSA documents
- Complete annual representative payee reports
- Process RSDI & SSI initial claims
- Maintain and update spreadsheets SharePoint and databases
- Identify and process potential SSA candidates
- Assist with administrative duties including data entry and document management
- Communicate with providers and stakeholders via phone and email
- Collaborate with federal state and community organizations
- Limited travel may be required
Required Skills: - Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and SharePoint
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound judgments
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Experience with relational databases
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience working in state services
- Familiarity with federal social security forms and processes
- FPCC (Fingerprint Clearance Card) required at submission
