As a Tapster you will:
- Define the vision strategy and roadmap for the Payment Routing & Orchestration product.
- Analyze business customer and regulatory requirements to prioritize product features.
- Continuously monitor market trends competitor offerings and scheme updates to keep the platform future-ready.
- Write clear actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value regulatory impact and customer needs.
- Lead sprint planning backlog grooming and release management using JIRA.
- Track and report on KPIs such as routing success rates latency improvements and fraud reduction metrics.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and refine APIs for routing and orchestration.
- Ensure API documentation is complete clear and suitable for both internal teams and external partners.
- Advocate for scalable and modular architecture decisions to support growth.
- Work with fraud and risk teams to integrate fraud detection and management systems into routing workflows
- Ensure product features comply with PCI-DSS scheme rules and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Act as the primary product representative for routing and orchestration aligning stakeholders across product compliance engineering and business teams.
- Provide regular updates on product progress risks and priorities to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain detailed product documentation including flow diagrams and process maps.
What you will bring to the party:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in fintech payments or transaction-heavy platforms.
- Deep understanding of payment gateways acquirers orchestration platforms and scheme mandates.
- Familiarity with fraud management systems (rules-based and ML-driven).
- Strong experience with JIRA for backlog management and delivery tracking.
- Excellent skills in writing user stories managing backlogs and facilitating agile delivery.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in documentation flowcharting and process mapping.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with real-time transaction routing and open banking APIs.
- Knowledge of tokenization 3DS 2.x and orchestration logic.
- Exposure to microservices architectures and cloud platforms.
