Description

The Connelly School of the Holy Child is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and flexible Substitute Teachers to step in when our regular faculty are unavailable. This role is critical in ensuring that our students educational experience remains uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow lesson plans left by the teacher and engage students with the assigned material.
  • Facilitate a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Enforce school rules and manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Communicate any necessary information to the regular teacher upon their return.
  • Oversee students during non-instructional times as needed including lunch and recess.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in education or a related field.
  • Experience in an educational setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to various teaching situations.
  • Commitment to Connellys mission of nurturing the growth of each student.
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to work with faculty and staff.
