Job Description
Long-Term Substitute Position: Integrated Preschool Teacher
Location: Winthrop School
Start Date: August 25 2025
End Date: January 30 2026
Winthrop School is seeking a qualified and passionate Long-Term Substitute Preschool Teacher for our Integrated Preschool program at Winthrop School. This full-time position begins on August 25 2025 and runs through January 30 2026.
We are looking for an educator who brings positive energy to our school community has excellent communication skills and demonstrates a strong commitment to student growth and learning. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and support students diverse needs in an inclusive nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Positively impact student development through a strong understanding of early childhood and special education practices.
Design and implement active developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to assess and address the needs of all learners.
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts DESE Early Education license
Special Education license (appropriate for preschool level)
