VicRoads is progressing August 2022 we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super Australian Retirement Trust and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.
We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access infrastructure and safety.
Annual salary range: Commensurate with experience

About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Resilience Advisor (Technology & Projects) to join VicRoads and play a key role in strengthening our enterprise risk and business continuity capabilities. Youll support the implementation of our Risk Management and Business Continuity Roadmaps with a focus on technology information security digital and project-related tasks.
Youll work closely with business areas to provide expert risk advice develop insights from data analysis and contribute to meaningful risk reporting that drives decision-making. Youll also support the development and testing of business continuity plans helping ensure the organisation is prepared for disruptions.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of frameworks training and awareness programs. If youre passionate about building organisational resilience and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to embed strong risk practices this is your chance to make a real impact in a forward-thinking public-facing organisation.
About you
Youre a proactive risk professional with a solid understanding of IT digital and project risks. You thrive in dynamic environments build strong stakeholder relationships and bring a practical solutions-focused approach. Confident in delivering training producing clear reports and supporting risk and business continuity frameworks youre adaptable analytical and driven to make a real impact.
Demonstrated success supporting implementation of risk management and business continuity frameworks in complex environments
In-depth knowledge of technology digital systems cyber security and project risk management
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experienced in designing and delivering tailored training sessions to enhance risk awareness and capability
Skilled in producing clear concise and actionable risk reports and documentation for diverse audiences
Agile mindset with the ability to prioritise unstructured tasks and work independently or collaboratively
Familiarity with data analysis automated testing and risk-related technology solutions to identify trends and emerging risks
