VicRoads is progressing August 2022 we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super Australian Retirement Trust and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.
We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access infrastructure and safety.
Annual salary range: Grade 4 - $100000 -$115000 super

About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Risk and Resilience Analyst (Operations) playing a key role in strengthening risk and business continuity capabilities across the organisation. Acting in a second line of defence capacity you will partner with various business areas to support the effective implementation of the Risk Management and Business Continuity Frameworks with a primary focus on operational and customer service risks. Youll provide expert risk advice assurance and insights that enhance decision-making build resilience and improve overall risk culture.
The role involves data analysis to identify emerging risks supporting risk reporting and dashboards and contributing to training and awareness initiatives. Youll also help align business continuity with crisis and disaster recovery planning including testing and scenario exercises.
About you
You are a proactive and adaptable professional with a strong background in risk management and business continuity particularly within operational or customer-focused environments. Your approach is grounded in integrity and you understand the importance of working collaboratively to support a culture of accountability privacy and ethical behaviour. You bring a practical mindset enjoy translating frameworks into actionable steps and have the confidence to influence and support business stakeholders at all levels.
Your strong communication skills both written and verbal enable you to deliver clear guidance reports and training with impact. You thrive in dynamic environments can manage competing priorities and are comfortable working independently or as part of a team to drive outcomes.
Proven experience in implementing risk and/or business continuity frameworks.
In-depth understanding of operational risks in customer service industries.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Skilled in training delivery and risk awareness initiatives.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with risk-related systems or tools.
A relevant qualification or professional certification (desirable).
