Job Description

As a Channel Account Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Managing and growing new and existing partner accounts assigned

  • Create nurture and respond to sales opportunities with strong follow through till sales cycle

  • Increase Motorola Solutions share of wallet within our partners

  • Trusted sales advisor for partners / Managing channel partner conflicts

  • Quarterly business review with key accounts

  • Prepare proposals together with Sales Engineer team and quotes in a timely manners

  • Work on key deals to help define and oversee how our products are deployed.

  • Provide first level technical guidance product and sales training to integrators and partners.

  • Accurate forecasting with timeliness


Basic Requirements

To be successful as Channel Account Manager you should be/have:

  • Strong understanding of the video surveillance & access control market in mid to premium brand space with an aptitude for selling solutions with a minimum of 5 years experience in this sector.
  • Self-motivated and focused individual with a passion for technology and an aptitude for customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation skills. Being comfortable with negotiation at all levels of the business from their partners / account up to senior management.
  • Excellent presentation skills verbal and written able to communicate complex solutions in an informative way and adapt to a varied audience.
  • Has a pleasant friendly style of verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP communication CCTV and access control.
  • Prior experience is essential for the role with an understanding of local channel partner eco-system.
  • Excellent IT skills in office and other essential programs.
