The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized proactive and energetic leader to oversee the daily operations of our Hop on Hop off service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment where staff guests and vehicles are constantly on the move. The Operations Supervisor will ensure that schedules are adhered to service standards are met and both employees and guests are supported throughout the day. This is a seasonal position based on the cruise ship schedule with peak demand in the fall months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily Hop on Hop off operations ensuring vehicles staff and guests move smoothly and according to the established schedule.
  • Staff Leadership: Provide clear direction and leadership to drivers guides and support staff; step in to resolve challenges as they arise.
  • Guest Experience Management: Ensure guests receive excellent service provide assistance information and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Schedule Adherence: Monitor vehicle rotations and staff assignments making real-time adjustments to keep operations running on time.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent and professional communication with staff management and guests throughout the day.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond quickly and effectively to unexpected issues such as delays vehicle changes or guest concerns.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations follow company policies safety regulations and service standards.
  • Reporting: Provide end-of-day operational updates to management noting successes and challenges.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to coordinate multiple moving parts simultaneously.
  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact confidently with staff and guests.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use scheduling and communication tools.
  • Flexible availability including weekends holidays early mornings and evenings based on cruise schedules (especially during peak fall season).
