Job Description

People Who Care is a not for profit organisation with over 45 years of service. We partner to provide support to older people those with a disability or people who are facing a social crisis. At People Who Care were passionate about helping people live independently and with dignity.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our Home Care this vital role youll be the backbone of our client service operationsproviding high-quality administrative support managing records and helping ensure services run smoothly and meet compliance standards.

Full-time role - 8.00am to 4.06pm - $34.09 per hour superannuation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Care Coordinators
  • Liaise with clients families staff and external providers
  • Process and track client service orders and purchases
  • Maintain accurate client records and data entry
  • Respond to phone email and in-person enquiries professionally
  • Assist with general office duties
  • Support compliance with aged care quality standards

What Youll Bring

  • Experience in an admin. or customer service role
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player mindset with a can-do attitude

Desirable

  • Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or Community Services
  • Experience in aged care NDIS or not-for-profit sectors
  • Knowledge of Home Care Packages (HCP) or CHSP

Requirements

  • National Police Clearance
