The Coordinator provides input into the business operations including budgets and staff supervision to maintain efficient workflow and exceptional service standards. Essential Functions / Job Duties: | - 40% - Plan coordinate and manage event services and logistics for student organizations university departments and external clients. Coordinate scheduling event planning and on-site management to ensure that every event is delivered successfully and meets the high-quality standards of our designated spaces. Coordinate and monitor the activities of event services staff provide training and on-site direction as needed to accomplish departmental objectives. Conducts setup audits and greets clients upon arrival to confirm that all venue requirements are met. - (Essential)
- 25 % - Supervise and support the ongoing development of Event Services student staff through regular training and skills enhancement initiatives. Create update and maintain comprehensive training manuals and procedural documentation for the team. Participate in weekly event planning meetings alongside student staff and key stakeholders to review confirm and finalize event setup details. Implement necessary adjustments based on meeting outcomes. Provide on-site support and assist in resolving last-minute requests or day-of-event logistical challenges to ensure successful event execution. - (Essential)
- 15% - Coordinates and enforces established departmental guidelines and University event management policies to ensure quality service and clear expectations for all staff and clients to meet department objectives .
